This legislation will ensure continued U.S. leadership in space exploration and energy innovation by codifying a long-standing partnership between the two agencies into federal law.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Rep. George Whitesides (CA-27) voted against a budget resolution which would decimate essential programs – such as Medicaid and SNAP – that children, working families, and seniors rely on. In California’s 27th District, that would mean threatening 240,698 individuals on Medicaid, including 98,000 children and 26,000 seniors, as well as 75,000 individuals who count on SNAP to put food on the table.
