Today, we have been contacted by people across the district who are worried about President Trump’s announcement pausing certain government grants. Local fire stations, affordable housing nonprofits, and individuals seeking disaster assistance fear the potential impacts. The lack of clarity surrounding this unconstitutional action is causing widespread concern, including from the brave firefighters across LA County who rely on federal funding to do their important work.
